Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Job Types: Permanent Full-time / Part-time

HGV Driver Benefits
• Driver is NOT required to assist with any unloading/loading.

HGV Driver Requirements
• Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E
• Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
• Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
• Pass a background check (see below) to the extent it is permitted by the applicable law
• Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (see below) to the extent it is permitted by the applicable law
• Be able to speak & read English satisfactorily
• Have a maximum of 6 penalty points on the Driver’s License (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
• Approved drivers will be drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
HGV Driver Responsibilities
• Use route navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres
• Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
• Drive in inclement weather, such as light snow Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
Shift Patterns
• 4 and 5-day shifts patterns available
• Average shift length 8 – 12 hours
• Morning / Afternoon / Night shifts available
• Permanent Role – Full time / Part-time
